24 August 2018. Iain Kelly. Ford's Focus uses a Halogen H7 bulb in its low-beam socket. Open the bonnet and remove the two Torx screws holding the headlight in place, then lift the headlight forward and out of the car. Unplug the wiring connector on the back, then remove the rubber boot weather seal on the back of the headlight.

Went to readjust them today and the screws are doing absolutely nothing to adjust the aim of the beam on the headlights. There doesn’t seem to be a horizontal adjustment and the verticals don’t do anything.
3. The HID headlight could have been added after it has been bought. 4. They have checked with Ford etis which says that the car does not have adaptive headlights. they are giving the option of: either to replace it with normal headlight or to leave it as it is. Suggestions please

The Focus headlights are not designed symetrically. Meaning, that the reflectors may already be designed to aim some of the light pattern slightly to the right (passenger side up and to the right), therefor, follow this guide using your headlights 'hotspots'.
